2007 - Designed and carved models for two childrens’ novelty books.
2004 - Designed and carved words and motifs on memorial bench.
2003 - Designed and created sculptures for Richard Joseph’s Memorial Garden, Shepherd’s Bush, London, W12.
2002 - Public Commission for St. George’s Hospital Medical School, London, commemorating 250 years of medical training at the School. “Handing on Skills, Ideas and Ideals…” unveiled by HRH the Queen.
1990 - Commissioned by Mercury Communication to carve two figures in English oak, for St Mary’s Churchyard, Reading, Berkshire.
1989 - Shortlisted to carve figure in Lady Chapel, Winchester Cathedral.
1968 - Won competition to make playground sculpture in Camden Town, London. Four sculptures were made from my maquettes.
Teaching
2003-Present - Run private classes and mentoring sessions.
2003 - Worked with youth group to make sculptures for memorial garden.
1980-1996 - Ran classes on parenting and child development, with particular emphasis on markmaking.
1985-89 - Associate lecturer at Clapham and Battersea Adult Education Institute, with responsibilities for equal opportunities.
1975-85 - Part time tutor of woodcarving at Clapham and Battersea AEI. Camberwell School of Art, Farnham College of Art, Dartington Hall, St. Martin’s School of Art.
1970-73 - Part time tutor at Maidstone College of Art and Norwich School of Art.
